Steve is one of our senior technicians and a qualified electrician with over 10 years of experience in the commercial food equipment industry. He also holds a Gas Servicing Licence and is currently completing his training to become a fully qualified Type A Gas Fitter, further expanding his ability to support our customers across both electrical and gas equipment.

Jacqui is our dedicated Gas Fitter and the primary gas specialist within the CG&E team. With extensive experience in gas installations, servicing, and repairs, she provides our customers with expert advice and high-quality workmanship. Jacqui also holds a Restricted Electrical Licence, allowing her to diagnose, repair, and service complex gas appliances and systems that incorporate electrical controls.

Jennie is one of our Service Schedulers and is a key contact for customers requiring service work, installations, or general enquiries. She supports the service team and management to ensure jobs are scheduled efficiently and customers receive a high level of service. With a strong background in customer service, Jennie is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for customers. She is currently studying a Diploma of Business (Operations) and enjoys identifying opportunities for process improvement and business efficiency.

Jade is a Field Service Technician specialising in electrical repairs on commercial food equipment. Originally from New Zealand, Jade is a qualified electrical service technician and brings valuable international experience to the team. He is currently completing training toward becoming an Electrical Fitter, with Compliant Gas and Electrical actively supporting his ongoing development and qualifications.

Andrew is CG&E's longest-serving team member, having joined the business as a mature-age electrical apprentice. Since then, he has become a qualified electrician, completed his Type A Gas Servicing qualification, and gone on to obtain his Full Type A Gas Fitting Licence. Today, Andrew leads many of our major projects and installations while continuing to support customers with service, maintenance, and repair work across a wide range of equipment.

Tony is the Director and Founder of Compliant Gas and Electrical. He is a fully qualified and licensed Plumber, Drainer, Gas Fitter, and Electrician, and also holds refrigeration servicing and air conditioning installation qualifications. With over 20 years of industry experience, Tony has worked across everything from major construction projects to small café and hospitality sites, with a strong focus on the commercial food industry over the past 15 years. He established Compliant Gas and Electrical with the goal of setting a new benchmark for service, reliability, and technical capability in Queensland.

Tony uses his own passion and drive to push the team to reach their full potential and is the primary point of contact for technical knowledge across the business.

Callum is an electrical apprentice learning the trade across all areas of the business. He works alongside our technicians in the field, gaining hands-on experience and building knowledge across a wide range of commercial electrical, gas, and refrigeration systems.

With a strong mechanical mindset and a passion for working with his hands, Callum is a great asset to the team and is well on his way to becoming a skilled electrician. Alongside his TAFE studies, he will also be supported through gas qualification training, with the goal of becoming a fully qualified gas fitter by the end of his apprenticeship.

Meeka is a Field Service Technician specialising in electrical repairs on commercial food equipment. He joined Compliant Gas and Electrical from New Zealand, where he is a qualified electrical service technician, bringing strong practical experience to the team. Meeka is currently undertaking training in Appliance Repair and Servicing, which will expand his capability to work across both commercial electrical food equipment and standalone refrigeration systems. Compliant Gas and Electrical is fully committed to supporting Meeka’s ongoing training and development as he builds his skills within the industry.

Tom is our dedicated workshop technician and a fully qualified electrician who specialises in the repair and refurbishment of countertop commercial equipment. From vacuum sealing machines, microwaves, and mixers to large bakery mixers and doughnut machines, Tom's technical expertise and attention to detail make him the go-to person for major workshop repairs.

Riaan is our Senior Refrigeration Technician with over 20 years of experience as a refrigeration mechanic in the commercial and hospitality industry. He is fully qualified in refrigeration and air conditioning and holds the required licences for both fluorocarbon and hydrocarbon refrigerants, specialising in reliable, compliant refrigeration solutions and repairs.

Natalie is one of our Service Schedulers and plays a key role in coordinating service work, installations, and customer enquiries. She works closely with the service team and management to ensure daily operations run smoothly and customers are well looked after. With many years of experience in service scheduling and customer service, Natalie is dedicated to delivering excellent customer experiences and ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the service process.

Jess is our Accounts and Marketing Manager with extensive experience in website design, marketing campaign development, brochure creation, and active social media management. She also brings strong bookkeeping and business accounting experience to support the financial side of the business. With a Diploma in Multimedia, Jess plays a key role in shaping how Compliant Gas and Electrical is presented to customers and the wider industry.
