Emmanual College

Enhancing Efficiency and Performance.

 

We recently undertook a comprehensive upgrade to the commercial kitchen equipment located at Emmanual College, to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency. Our team managed the entire process—from unpacking and positioning the new appliances to connecting them to existing services and conducting thorough testing and commissioning.

Key Installations and Upgrades:

  • 6-Burner Gas Stove: Installed a new 6-burner gas stove on its stand, ensuring a secure connection to the existing gas supply and verifying its performance through rigorous testing.

  • Electric Bratt Pan: Replaced the outdated VCC112 model with a new electric bratt pan, connected to existing electrical services, and fully commissioned for immediate use.

  • Combi Oven Enhancements:

    • Mounted the existing ICC101 electric combi oven onto a new combi duo castor kit, enhancing mobility and accessibility.

    • Installed a combi duo stacking kit on a 10-tray oven to optimize space utilization.

    • Positioned and installed a new ICC61 combi oven atop the stacking kit, connected it to existing services.

 

These upgrades were executed with minimal disruption to operations, ensuring that the kitchen is equipped with reliable, efficient, and up-to-date appliances.

RACV Royal Pines

Electrical Upgrades.

Our team carried out a significant upgrade of a commercial kitchen, shifting from gas to electric cooking equipment to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with modern standards. The project involved the removal of outdated infrastructure, installation of new electrical systems, and deployment of high-performance electric cooking appliances.

Project Highlights:

  • Transition to Electric Cooking: Replaced existing gas-powered equipment with advanced electric appliances to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

  • Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades: Installed five new dedicated electrical circuits, replaced three wall-mounted power outlets with weatherproof units, and set up five isolator switches for enhanced safety and control.

  • Installation of High-Performance Equipment: Deployed state-of-the-art electric cooking appliances, including two Synergy ST0905E Char Grills, a Giorik ST30T Salamander, a Waldorf IN8410ECF Induction Cooktop, and a Waldorf IN8200F Induction Fryer.

 

This transformation has modernized the kitchen into an energy-efficient workspace, providing enhanced cooking capabilities, improved safety, and reduced energy consumption.

Samford Laundry

Gas System Upgrades.

Our team undertook upgrading a laundromat's gas infrastructure to support the installation of new, high-efficiency equipment. The project aimed to improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance with safety standards, and accommodate increased demand.

 

Project Highlights:

  • Safe Decommissioning: Disconnected and removed existing equipment.

  • Gas Infrastructure Installation: Installed new copper gas lines to accommodate the new equipment, ensuring optimal gas flow and safety.

  • Equipment Integration: Connected four Dexter T450 Combo dryer units, one Dexter T80 dryer, and two Bosch 26 gas hot water systems to the new gas lines, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

  • Ventilation Enhancements: Installed flues for each dryer, terminating through the roof to ensure proper ventilation and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Regulator and Manifold Installation: Supplied and installed new first and second-stage gas regulators, along with a new manifold system on the gas cylinders, to ensure consistent gas pressure and distribution.

  • System Testing and Commissioning: Conducted thorough leak testing, purged pipework, set gas pressures, and commissioned the new gas system to ensure optimal performance and safety.

 

This upgrade has modernized the laundromat's operations, providing enhanced efficiency, safety, and capacity to meet customer demand.

Gas and Electrical Upgrade.

 

Upgrade of a commercial kitchen's gas and electrical systems to enhance safety, efficiency, and compliance with current standards.

Key Work Undertaken:

  • Decommissioning and Safety Measures: Safely disconnected and removed the existing gas system and outdated electrical circuits.

  • Gas System Installation: Installed a new 32mm gas line, a gas solenoid system for enhanced safety, and a new gas manifold. All gas pipework was completed, pressure-tested, and commissioned to ensure optimal performance.

  • Electrical System Upgrades: Ran new 6mm cables for the combi oven and installed a dedicated power circuit for heat lamps and the freezer. Cables were roughed into the kitchen, with isolation and circuit protection devices installed to meet safety standards.

  • Equipment Installation and Testing: Fitted heat lamps to new pads and installed power points for the fridge and lamps. All electrical circuits and equipment were thoroughly tested to confirm proper operation.

 

This upgrade ensures the commercial kitchen operates safely and efficiently, meeting all necessary compliance requirements.
